An intern and the opportunity

An intern with no prior experience and extremely grateful for the opportunity. This is how Monique Batirolla's start at the Swan network in 2016 can be defined.

At the time, an academic completing the Human Resources Management course at Feevale, Monique was looking for an internship to practice learning in the classroom and found out about a vacancy at Swan in Novo Hamburgo. “In the beginning, I supported the DHO area in screening CVs, I did not participate in selection interviews”, recalls Monique who, upon graduating, was hired and started to carry out more recruitment and selection activities, today being one of those responsible for the task in the network's six units.

In addition to recruitment and selection, the professional also takes care of the employee's first journey, made tangible mainly by their integration into the company. Because she is so involved in these initial stages of hiring, Monique highlights that it is always a thrill to share in the joy of employees when they receive the news that they have won the job they dreamed of. “It’s very rewarding to experience this moment with them”, he emphasizes.

Like her “recruits”, Monique lives a beautiful journey of development and fulfillment within her professional choice. So much so that he started a postgraduate course in organizational psychology and increasingly wants to delve deeper into the different human resources subsystems, as the company makes this possible.

“I always felt welcomed, as if I were a family, and encouraged to learn and practice new things”, she highlights.
